Getting to know the Leaman family
Mission
The Leamans, as they are known in our little corner of the world, arrived in Brazil in 2013 when Pastor Douglas came to serve in seminaries, through preaching and teaching, focusing on Biblical Counseling. Over time and with incredible providence, God allowed Project Soli Deo Gloria to be born on the same property where Douglas was born. The Project has been able, by God’s grace, to expand opportunities to declare the glory of God through the faithful teaching of God's word. It is amazing to see the blessing of the Lord in every detail of this work. Soli Deo Gloria!
In partnership with the Chan family and Liferay, we created the Soli Deo Gloria Institute of Technology and Theology, where 20 young men study both fields for a full year.

Every year, we hold camps, with lectures on topics relevant to our Reformed faith, and of course, many activities for children and teenagers to interact, experiencing a time of communion.

Soli Deo Gloria Cafe
Space
In recent years, we've devised a special and creative way to help fund future construction projects. Thus, the beloved and delicious Soli Deo Gloria Cafe was born. The cafe opens on event days and whenever the team decides to welcome guests! The cafe has grown slowly but steadily, guided by the providential leading of the Lord.

The Soli Deo Gloria Project is located in the neighborhood of Aldeia, a few kilometers from Recife, in the city of Camaragibe. For those who are not familiar with the area, this neighborhood is known for its quality of life, with a significant connection to nature. The place is a green paradise, where we can contemplate God's creation with many plantations, birds, and rivers. With Genesis 2:15 echoing through our hearts, gradually, we have been endeavoring to bring dominion to the physical space where the project is located. The objective here is to bring every square inch under the control of beauty and order, for the benefit of all those who visit. We are seeking to develop the land so that its innate qualities may manifest in an abundance of food and beauty, providing healthy food for God's people, as well as showcasing the glorious fruits with which God has embellished His Creation. We desire that the physical space display His creational glory.
